Our first release of 2015 sees the debut release from TwelveBitMusic, a new collaboration between C&P stalwart Finest Wear and Dance Music heavyweight James Hockley.
Finest Wear (formerly known as Mr Cenzo) has released two stellar EPs on Colour and Pitch, with a third coming later this spring. His restrained, hypnotic sound has caught the attention of Deep Housers across the globe, among them The Timewriter, Lars Behrenroth, Ralf GUM & Shur-i-Kan.
Since replacing none other than MJ Cole as programmer and engineer at a private studio in London, James Hockley has worked on projects for Fedde Le Grande, William Orbit, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, BT and Chicane (with whom he co produced 'Poppiholla' and the album 'Giants').
Fusing Finest Wear’s underground House credentials with Hockley’s ‘Big Room’ Dance pedigree, TwelveBitMusic represents an exciting musical prospect indeed. The result is three cuts of masterfully produced Deep House music, ebbing and flowing throughout, arranged with subtlety, poise and grace.
